Nightforce NXS™ 3.5-15x50mm Riflescope NZ$4,180 (incl. GST)
The Nightforce 3.5-15x50 NXS™ Riflescope: Just About Bulletproof.
Originally developed for use on military small arms, it offers an extremely versatile magnification range providing outstanding mid- to long-range capability.
The NXS™ 3.5-15x50 to the left was shot completely through by an enemy 7.62x39 round fired at a U.S. soldier…yet the unharmed serviceman used it for the next three days, completing his mission.
The 3.5-15x50 adapts comfortably to a variety of rifle platforms, survives abuse that would destroy lesser riflescopes, and is impervious to heavy recoil. And, apparently, to enemy bullets.

Nightforce ZeroStop™
An Instant Return To Zero. Every Time
It’s an old problem. Make a radical adjustment to your scope’s elevation settings and returning to your zero setting can be almost impossible. Other manufacturers have tried various means to solve this problem, with less than satisfactory results. The Nightforce ZeroStop™ is the solution. A solution so good, so simple and so effective, it is patented.
After sighting in your rifle, simply set the ZeroStop™, and you create a positive mechanical stopping point at your chosen zero point. Then, no matter how many elevation adjustments you make, turning the elevation knob down to the ZeroStop™ setting returns you to your original zero, completely by feel—even in total darkness or while wearing gloves. No counting clicks, no need for visual reference, no wasted effort. Just an instant return to zero. Every time.
ZeroStop™ is standard on ATACR models, The B.E.A.S.T., Competition, and most NXS models. ZeroStop is optional on 1-4, 2.5-10x32. Available in .250 MOA and .1 Mil-Radian adjustments. |

Nightforce Analog Illumination
Nightforce’s analog illumination system powers adjustable brightness, red illuminated reticles in most SHV, NXS, and Benchrest riflescopes. SHV and Benchrest riflescopes use a rotary dial to turn on and adjust the brightness. NXS riflescopes with analog illumination are turned on by pulling the illumination control knob out and brightness is adjusted using a small screwdriver. The Nightforce analog system is a simple, reliable, and effective way to increase your ability to shoot in all lighting conditions and environments. |

MOAR™ - 30 MOA Reticle (illuminated)
MOAR™ - 30 MOA Reticle: With 1 MOA elevation and windage markings, more accurate range finding and hold-offs are possible on smaller targets at longer ranges. Combined with a floating center crosshair, this makes for a reticle extremely fast and easy to use in the field.

Building a Nightforce
Nightforce's journey began in 1992, in a quest to provide the ultimate in riflescopes and accessories to the hunter, the professional, and the competitive shooter.
Consider the challenges of making a Nightforce riflescope. Optically, you are creating an instrument of extreme precision, built to tolerances often finer than a human hair. It requires many of the same techniques used in the very best laboratory microscopes and in massive, delicately balanced scientific telescopes that peer deep into the heavens.
Then you’re tasked with putting these perfectly matched optics into the most compact package possible, eliminating every ounce of excess weight, and making them impervious to extreme weather conditions as well as to constant pounding from the most powerful rifle calibers over thousands of rounds. It is a huge technological challenge. Frankly, there are very few riflescope companies up to it. Fortunately, Nightforce are. |
|
Factory Testing: Before they leave the factory, Nightforce riflescopes are subjected to conditions far beyond most anything you will ever encounter in the field. During Nightforce's impact tests, riflescopes must endure repeated impacts of over 1200 Gs of force on multiple axes. After each severe impact, the riflescope is hand-checked on a collimator for tracking accuracy and overall integrity. If Nightforce can’t make it fail, chances are you can’t either.
Turrect Tracking and Consistency: If a scope manufacturer even bothers to check for turret accuracy–and many don’t–they often allow a “tolerable” error or don’t verify accuracy over the entire adjustment range. At Nightforce, “good enough” is not good enough. During the manufacturing process Nightforce inspect their scopes to ensure perfect clicks and absolute precision across the entire range of adjustment. This means that when you make a shot at any distance, regardless of how much windage or elevation adjustment you’ve made, you can trust your turrets–and your Nightforce–to deliver your shot predictably and on target. |
